You knew it was coming, just amazing that John Hesp was able to hang on for so long. Hesp misplayed pocket pairs on a previous hand when he checked a turn and bet light on the flop. His opponent was able to hit a gut shot and got 10 mill on a river bet. Blumenfeld played his aa to perfection the next hand and Hesp finally got the cooler after an amazing amount of run good. Unfortunate that hesps a10 connected with an ace on a flop and his 10 came on the turn. Its been fun to watch his ride but the fat lady is starting to sing. No Chris Moneymaker this time around.

Its going to be kind of anti climatic to watch the next couple of nights. Rooting against Blumenfeld taking it down.
