bloody ell do these people have their shit together......I type Open live coverage and it's like right there.....and it works
Are you talking about the British Open?
real talk, im going to be getting into golf pretty soon and need some clubs. What would you all recommend a newbie? I dont need anything crazy expensive just something that isnt complete shit that i can have fun with like 2-3 times a month.
id check out some used club websites first off...you can probably get a few year old models for the price of a newer set of lower brand clubs...for somebody first starting out you don't need the latest and greatest technology...if you can get a few year old major brand model for the price of a new set of shit brand i'd go for the major brand all the time...obviously make sure the condition of the used clubs isn't shit...
Spieth 65 (-5) struggled off the tee but scrambled like an animal and made the putts he needed to make
Koepka is still in U.S Open form with the 65 (-5)
Paul Casey who is hated by most American golf fans lingers at (-4) 66.
Matt Kuchar shot 29 on the front and the magic ended there but he's kept it contained and is on the leaderboard....would love to see him win a major though.

Spieth followed up his first round 65 with a second round 69 (-1)....which puts him at -6 for the Open and a 2 shot lead heading into the weekend.
Kuchar is at -4 after shooting a 71 (+1) today.
Koepka is at -3 after a 72 (+2) today and tied in third with him is English Journeyman Ian Poulter who I could see shooting a 77 tomorrow. If his putter is off he is such a shaky ball striker.
Gonna be an interesting weekend as I can see Spieth running away with the win. He has a putter to do it.

Jordan Spieth is such a talent and went out and fired 65 (-5) to bring his 54 hole total to (-11) and and a 3 shot lead heading into the final round
Matt Kuchar is in 2nd at (-8) after an impressive 66 (-4) today.
2 guys are currently tied for third at (-5) and they are reigning U.S Open Champion Brooks Koepka and a 20 year old Canadian named Austin Connelly.
Brendan Grace shot 62 today which is the lowest score ever shot in a major albeit on a Par 70 track.
If Spieth can keep it simple off the tee, hit greens and make putts like he normally does he should have no problem hoisting the claret jug tomorrow. Hopefully a repeat of his implosion at the 2016 Masters doesn't occur.

Awesome Austin America
moving to Southpool, what are the green fees at Birkdale in March
Don't look now but Spieth is in total collapse mode.

Spieth bogey on 3 of the first 4 holes...smh. barely holding it together.
If it's anyone to beat him Kuchar deserves a major real classy humble guy.

think with this drop fiasco another wheel or two may have come off...he's gotta be so amped up right now, running up and down that dune and then going back onto the practice area to make his drop and all the other chaos going on...
agreed on kooch...feeling old watching an almost 40 year old kooch win a major...remember watching this dude in the fucking amateur like 2 decades ago...this whole spieth fiasco has to be fucking with his rhythm big time...
side note...rory at -5 right now, drove it into the shit on 18...believe he went out on Thursday in +5...boy he's gonna be fucking kicking himself on that one...
