If you did, there's a chance you might actually get lucky, with your team playing so much better as of late, and having such a shit division to where 49-46 qualifies as 1 game out of first. In the NL West, 49-46 would be 16 games behind the Dodgers, and that's AFTER the Dodgers just dropped two to the Braves.
But anyway, as the Giants of 2014 proved, you can be a mediocre team and still win the World Series, provided you get hot at the right time.
