Probably what he is best known for. This was after his walk off homerun against the Braves in the 1999 world series.

Coached against this guy 5 or so years back when he was coaching Caledonia High School in the Grand Rapids area. Before meeting him I had already heard that this dude was a strange ranger and a huge bible thumper. He lived up to the billing. Any interaction with him was awkward. Rumor always was that many of his teammates in the majors didn't get along with him. A guy I coached with asked him about it and he said teammates didn't like him because if music with profanity was playing he would shut it off and basically he would just police the clubhouse. He was a real awkward, arrogant, preaching know it all. Not surprised by the charges.
