Tennis is the most entertaining Women's sport to watch and bet on.
Looking at the markets now and Pliskova is a strong fav at 7/2, although she's never been past the second round at Wimbledon in 4 attempts - and has never won a grand slam. Kerber who is ranked no.1 in world - albeit by a slim margin between her, Halep, and Pliskova (followed by a big gap yo fourth) - is 16/1, and she made the final last year. An each way bet is value as long as she makes the final. Also, Halep is 15/1, and she made final of French Open recently.
The firm I work for has Konta, the British no.1, as 7/1 2nd fav outright, which is not a reflection of the true odds - just like when England national team are playing in a major tournament and the bookies shorten the odds drastically to cover the liabilities from the home support even tho everyone knows its got slim chance of happening.
