possible attempted collusion at $3K NL Shootout final table

Apparently the two kids playing Esfandiari tried to make a side deal for a chop between the two of them. The idea being thrown around is that it would allow one of them to bust to the other in an attempt to take on Antonio, who at the time had 75% of the chips in play. The tourn director then pulled them aside and said that they could not make a deal and on the very next hand Esfandiari got it in preflop with 9s vs 7s for a pot that held 90% of the chips only to see a 7 hit the flop and lose.

And roughly 10 minutes later Antonio is out. He handled the situation a lot better than I think I would have.

Scumbag move by the other two players. Tough luck for Antonio to be colluded on then crippled by a two outer

Just watched it. Esfandiari had some bitter luck in that stretch. Maybe those tourneys are rigged.

I saw Druff tweet that he could hear the noisy British rail for this from the other side of the room, I watched some of it and it did seem a bit annoying, British player Sammy "The Squid" Grafton got kicked out by security and didn't seem too happy about it, even having a pop at Justin Bonomo.

    Sam Grafton ‏@SquidPoker
As always treated like an absolute cunt by @WSOP security. Bunch of pricks and no support from tournament staff or fellow players.

    Sam Grafton ‏@SquidPoker
Just hope I can win a bracelet and have the air space to tell Harrahs what fucking pricks they all are.

    Justin Bonomo ‏@JustinBonomo
The shoot out final table rail is so loud and obnoxious that it's very unpleasant playing in the Amazon room right now.

    Sam Grafton ‏@SquidPoker
@JustinBonomo Obnoxiousness is pretty much defined by your picture. With your success i'd pipe down about others cheering on their friends.

Im surprised the Tournament director didn't do more than say sorry you can't make a deal, like that fucking matters. Give these guys a one rounder for talking about colluding against the chip leader

Im not doubting this situation at all, but your facts must be a little bit off. If Antonio had 75% of the chips in play, how did he get in a pot with 90% of the chips on the very next hand? If the other guy had say 15-20% of the chips than the pot could only have been 40% of the total chips in play max. Antonio should have still been the chip leader no (5%, 40%, 55%)?
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

He means that had Antonio won he would have had 90% of the chips

Even if thats what it means, Antonio would have still been the chip leader (assumedly by a large margin) after this hand.
