Let me guess. In typical donk fashion you will try and fold to the money.

Raised button on 2nd hand back with AQo. Had 64k, made it 9k. Got 3-bet by tight guy in SB to 22k. After thinking, went all in.. #pfa73

Fortunately the guy didn't snap call me. Thought I either am racing or he's folding. He thinks, calls, shows KK! What??? #pfa73

Just a bad day all around. Only bright spot was that 33 double up. Lost almost every other hand I entered. #pfa73

Flop came low, all spades. He had spade, I didn't. 4 outs for me. Bricks on both streets. Out about 350 from money. #pfa73

Came very close to folding that AQ, but I would have had just 54k left, which was 5 orbits total. Felt I had to gamble. #pfa73

Take it Down. You got this
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Your storytelling kept me at the edge of my seat when that KK showed and I felt real disappointment when the AQo didn't connect. Hope you find better cards next year.

Here's how my Day 3 tablemates did:

    Fedor Truntsev SERGOEV POSAD, RU 228,100 Amazon / 144 / 1
Russian player with 4 cashes in this WSOP. Has never cashed above $17,000 in anything. Likely solid.
Did not cash. Like me, he was having a hard time winning hands. While he still had about 140k when I busted, it doesn't surprise me that he didn't cash. Solid player.

    Robert Dunn Abbotsford, BC, CA 217,000 Amazon / 144 / 2
Canadian player with one small WSOP cash lifetime. Possible amateur, but has pretty good stack.
Finished 329th to cash $35k. Actually made a good laydown against me with AJ top pair on the turn, when I turned a set. (This was very disappointing, obv.) Turned out he was a cautious player and I hadn't yet realized it, because this was fairly early.

    Michael Nelson Kirkland, WA, US 29,600 Amazon / 144 / 4
Two small cashes in the WSOP lifetime. Short stack so likely won't be around long. Hopefully the guy who replaces him isn't good, because they will have direct position on me/
Despite the tiny stack, he ran it up a few times, including an all-in where he hit runner-runner on someone to make a 1-card straight with JJ. He was the one who busted and slowrolled me with KK, and also the same guy I couldn't bet off KK on an A-high board. However, he did not cash, so my chips did not go to good use. Definitely an amateur. The KK slowroll was not intentional.

    Lee Taylor GB 157,400 Amazon / 144 / 5
There are two Lee Taylors from England, so I don't know which one this is. Both were in Vegas since June 30th at the Rio! Neither seems to play very high buyin tournaments. I'm guessing he's fairly solid either way.
Finished 926th to cash for $16k. Was a solid player, but seemed to hover in the 100k-160k range the entire time. I made a big laydown to him with QQ on a J-high board on the turn. Was convinced he had KK, AA, or JJ. I strongly suspected KK/AA preflop, and only called his 3-bet to my UTG raise with QQ. (It was pretty much all-in or call at that point, given the stacks.) There was a J-high flop followed by a moderate flop bet and turn shove , convincing me I was fucked. I still think I was correct. It was the only shove I saw him do the entire time at the table.

    Jiqiang Tong Wilton, CT, US 58,600 Amazon / 144 / 6
Johnny-Come-Lately poker player from Connecticut who just started cashing in late 2015. Played mostly sub-$1000 events, but hit a $40k score this summer in a non-Rio tournament, and likely took some of that money to play the Main. Probably decent player, but may be nervous about playing a $10k buyin. Fairly short stack.
Didn't cash. Busted pretty quickly early in the day.

    Jason Daly Houston, TX, US 224,700 Amazon / 144 / 7
Four lifetime cashes total (not just WSOP) since 2012. Seems to be a recreational player from what I can see.
441st, cashing $27k. This guy played a number of hands with me, including the one where I had 333 and doubled up versus his straight draw. I pegged him as an amateur in this write-up, but he was actually pretty good.

    David Ritter AUSTIN, TX, US 64,400 Amazon / 144 / 8
Can't find much info on him, aside from being the "cymbal guy, as previously mentioned. Fairly short stack.
Seemed to have nine lives at the table, always somehow staying alive with a shortstack. Was still there when I busted, but his cymbals never got to crash at the money, since he didn't make it.

Alpheus Chan RICHMOND, BC, CA 35,700 Amazon /144 / 9
Cashed the Main in 655th last year. He only has 35k this year, so he will need to get lucky to cash again. Not that many cashes overall. Seems to be a recreational player.
    Busted early in the day.
