Recently, we have seen some drama and controversy regarding money donated for freerolls and contests.
Allow me to explain my position on this.
There is only one person in the world who is EXPECTED to spend money on PFA. That person is me.
Everyone else who spends money on this site is DONATING, and is committing a selfless act of generosity.
Therefore, I have a very high level of respect for both the person donating and the money/prize donated.
In turn, I give the donor full authority to make their own rules regarding the money they donated. They can exclude anyone, they can make funny or weird rules, they can engage in favortism or anti-favortism toward those competing for it. They can do pretty much anything, because it's THEIR money, and I do not feel I have the right to tell them how they can spend it.
If you bitch about the way contest/freeroll donations are handled, you are being an ingrate. The only person who has a right to criticize is the person who donated it. For example, if someone donates money specifically for this week's freeroll and I roll it to next week, they have a right to bitch at me. But that's it. No one else has a right to complain, and DEFINITELY no one has a right to complain to the person who donated.
This site does not make money, nor does it try to make money. The money for the weekly freeroll is generously donated by nice people who want to show their appreciation for the site and/or radio show. Don't be an asshole and make them regret it.
Before you bitch about any freeroll or contest, keep in mind that you are on a free site which doesn't make money, and are playing in a free contest with money/prizes donated by other users. Then look in the mirror and realize what an ingrate you're about to be, and wisely choose not to make that obnoxious post.
