Kid steals sign in North Korea, comes home in a coma

Ahh yes. Stealing signs. I remember stealing signs back in my college days. My roommates and I would drive around Gainesville, looking for things to brighten up our townhouse. I especially remember the "No Dumping" sign we put in our guest bathroom that was staring you in the face when you were on the bowl.

My buddies and I were taking a train, which gets loaded on a ferry, from East Germany to Denmark. I was sitting in the rail car and my friends come in with a East German flag. They had stolen it from the mast of the ship! I always wonder what the Vopos (the notoriously strict DDR border guards) would have done if we were busted. He still has that flag hanging in his den.
