Like WHAT THE FUCK?
Just put the news on and seen a whole 27 story block of flats ablaze. Like a mini 9/11
Never seen a fire like that in the UK before.
How does it get that bad?

Videos of people screaming for help with zero chance of rescue. People making phone calls from flats basically saying goodbye to family members.
Hope it's just a handful who've died but it looks really fucking horrific.
Never seen anything like it. Here anyway.
BBC News saying that police and fire brigade telling people who are calling from inside the building to get a wet cloth over their mouths and self-evacuate, coz help just aint coming.
Just get this out the way.
27 stories? Wow.
Any news on how many people are supposed to be trapped inside?
I'm assuming most people got out when the fire started, right?
It really would be the worst to be in a high rise building on fire, and being unable to escape.
One of the most chilling things I've ever heard was the Keith Cosgrove call during the 9/11 attacks. He was trapped in his office in one of the WTC towers (sadly, he could have escaped had he left when the first plane hit), and having increasing difficulty breathing. Then you hear the rumble of the collapsing building, followed by, "Oh God!!! Oh....", and then he was gone.
Can actually hear kids screaming for help. Fucking grim.

no one is safe from anything. ever.

I'm about 3 hours late to the story and not seeing anything concrete on numbers. But my guess would be dozens at least.
Truth is though, it'll probably takes days to get a final count.
Residents on the news and at the scene saying they're talking with family members who're trapped and begging for help. But impossible for emergency services to enter.
Must be agony for them. 100% suicide mission for anyone feeling brave enough to enter the building.
I mean just how can a fire get this bad in the heart of London?
Can't get my head around it at all.
Looks like the owners of that building didn't care too much about safety code:

Haunt him forever this.

"The Grenfell Action Group predict that it won’t be long before the words of this blog come back to haunt the KCTMO management and we will do everything in our power to ensure that those in authority know how long and how appallingly our landlord has ignored their responsibility to ensure the heath and safety of their tenants and leaseholders. They can’t say that they haven’t been warned!"
The newly elected labour mp for Kensington should get medieval on the Tory council
it reminds me a bit of the new years eve fire in dubai, where they used flammable stucco or some shit for the exterior and it all went up.

Don't watch CNN anymore. But reading a few comments that they couldn't pull away from their 24hr Trump bashing to show live pictures of one of the worst residential fires in modern history.
Truth or fake news?
