I know I am in the mi ority here but I will miss Cooper and Griffin on new year's.

I agree with you that this entire thing has been blown way out of proportion. But both the left and the right do the exact same thing where everyone fakes outrage at something that is really innocuous.
It is just the culture we have that everyone fakes outrage at everything, especially when it comes to partisan politics, and noone can be honest or critical about anything. I would actually hate to be a (white) comedian in today's age. For good or bad, minority comedians are given a lot more leeway when it comes to using humor and satire to address social issues, although increasingly even they are becoming targeted by the SJW crowd and stifled.
Never been a fan of the regressive left. Agree happens on both sides. I just assumed that trump supporters were sane in this area.

One big difference is Kathy Griffin and Michael Moore don't get to hang out in the Oval Office when a Democrat is president, but Ted Nugent gets a private tour with a Republican president. Watching Kathy Griffin should remind everyone why most people despise the left wing social elites. Steven Colbert can rail on Trump all he wants, the people that generally vote are not up past 11pm to watch his show.
I had no idea who Kathy Griffin was until this week. I faintly remember seeing her freak out right after Trump won, but I never really have seen her in anything. I watch a lot of movies and stay fairly current on Hollywood stuff and I still had no idea who she was. She is one of the ugliest women I have ever seen. She looks like a female version of Carrot Top.
