What the fuck? Brock Lesnar talked Sable into moving where? Like year round confirmed??? She's gonna be one of those rare female suicides. They are gonna find her with slit wrists in LimitLes' childhood bathtub.

But honestly you should go to Maui obv.
Peyote with Les?
I have been to British Columbia, Quebec, Halifax. All total tourist destinations. Quebec was quite enjoyable. I doubt Canada is getting much better than Quebec. I could not understand most of the waiters and bartenders in Quebec, but I began tipping really well, and we got everything really fast. There was an Italian place next to a famous hotel near the lift you take up the mountainside. Restaurant was up a hill and had like 8 tables. I basically owned the place, mowed through like $500 in three hours on wine and appetizers. There was a couple other tables, getting frustrated with my snap service, but I was spraying Andy Jacksons and they knew who the boss was that afternoon. I had no Canadian money but they sure as shit did not care.
Question:
I see flying into Calgary is a much closer way to get to Banff.
If I flew into Calgary and drove west, and then continued into Jasper from there, would that be a better approach than flying into Vancouver?
Looks like it's 10 hours minimum driving from Vancouver to Banff. Would I see anything really scenic on this drive which I would miss by flying into Calgary and going west into Banff, and north into Jasper?
This article seems to like the Calgary-Banff drive: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/tr...pic-road-trip/
Calgary to Banff Is a nice drive, once you get into the national park its a little more pristine hence unmolested jasper banff road with only one small stop at the ice fields park way, you can take a buss up to the glacier... back in the day you could walk a few min to the ice now 30 min bus ride pretty cool though.
The drive to Van from jasper is a very nice drive with lots of tourists thing to stop and enjoy.
would be one of the best 10hr drives in Canada.
have fun!
some BC northern lights shots.

Life got busy, lurked regularly.
The drive from Calgary to Banff is an hour, half of that drive is fairly dull but nice once you get into the Rockies. The drive from Vancouver to Banff is gorgeous and worth it in my opinion but it's 10 hours. I'd plan to spend a few nights in the Okanagan. Depending on your budget book a few nights at the Outback Lakeside Resort just outside of Vernon. Then drive to Revelstoke, spend a night there and hit up http://www.revelstokemountainresort.com, the pipe roller coaster is a ton of fun. From there it's just 2-3 hours to Banff/Canmore area.
Here is a link to a few things to do around Banff. http://www.bravelittlecheesehead.com...banff.html?m=1 There's a list in there of a few easy hikes and they are all great. I can give you a lot more things to do in that area once you commit to the trip. My family and I spend a lot of time in the mountains around Banff and Canmore every year and I never get tired of it. I wouldn't venture into Saskatchewan unless you enjoy hunting and fishing. Edmonton sucks shit so stay away. Calgary pretty well blows as well, it's a great city to work in but the best it has to offer for tourists is the mountains west of town.
Just noticed that I can get a free national parks pass for Canada this year.
Hopefully it arrives on time, as they claim it will be "up to 8 weeks".
Hard to say, I saw the best display of northern lights in the middle of summer in Whistler.... looked like a spinning space ship.
Leaving Jasper towards BC there is Valmont home of Mike Wiglies heli skiing and mount robson provincial park very nice couple of friends skied it a few years back, a bit down the road is Kicking horse ski resort... highest vert for a ski area in north america need some work but it is there. small detour to pentiction and float down the lazy river pretty awesome and the kettle vally rail way path is also nice, it gets very hot there in the summer, not vegas hot but for canada hot. if you like lakes there is Shuswap Lake if you like big lakes this is one of the biggest in BC you can rent a house boat and spend a few days exploring on a boat.
Vancouver of course is the same suburban BS but a trip to the sunshine coast, short ferry ride or little longer to Tofino for some surfing and the most beautiful beaches in Canada.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can pick up a free pass right at the gate/visitor centre when you enter the park.

Fly into Calgary and leave back home from Bellingham WA avoid Canadian airport taxes. And a nice walk along the ocean from bellingham to Farhaven awsome town. With great food.
Good too but not sure about renting a car in Canada and returning it in USA.
You can get one in a week by mail if you contact our new ambassador to Washington, the Hon.Val Poutineski. (a guy)
I would rather pay airport taxes than have to do a connecting flight. I detest those with a passion.
If I do end up in Vancouver at the end, I will consider finishing in Seattle. I went to Seattle for 2 days in 2015, but the second got completely ruined by an (unexpected) heavy rainstorm. I can't complain though, because I've run excellent with avoiding rain on trips.
