You guys are gonna think I'm biased, but one of my better moving experiences was by an Israeli.
Was moving from a first floor apartment to a second floor on, all the way across a big complex in Vegas. Had big, heavy furniture from the 1990s which I wasn't going to attempt to move myself.
Posted ad on Craigslist. Among the answers I got was one from an Israeli dude. Was licensed. Seemed to be a small operation. Dude showed up personally with his black assistant. Both were very nice and competent. Did the job quickly (stalling is a huge problem in the per-hour moving industry). I paid/tipped them, thanked them, and then moved all the smaller/medium shit myself. This was also in August on a 109 degree day. Even moving the smaller stuff was brutal for that reason, so these guys definitely worked and sweated their asses off.
I've had plenty of bad moving company experiences, but these always seemed to be companies owned by non-Israeli white people.
With that said, yeah, a lot of Israelis are super shady in the way they conduct business, and many are scammers.
This comes from the culture.
You've gotta be somewhat of a hustler to make it in Israel, so a lot of them bring that mentality to the US, and notice that it isn't as much like that here, and a lot of people have their guard down. This is when they graduate from hustling to scamming.
I worked for Israelis for awhile. Had nothing to do with me being a Jew myself. They had no idea I was Jewish until I had been there awhile. Anyway, these were good quality Israelis and they conducted their business honestly. I will admit I was nervous at first working for Israelis, though.
