Beyond the fact that being terrible at his job isnt illegal, the stuff that is illegal will almost certainly take years to investigate properly. The odds of him not completing his 4 year term arent exactly remote but they arent great either. Pending sweeping Republican losses in Congress, Trump's odds are about 50/50 on making it 4 years without impeachment.
