its heart warming to see him mentioned in the context of deadwood, and not in the context of sin city.

The description "underrated" gets thrown around a lot, but he he starred alongside Keith Carradine in a masterpiece of a movie directed by Walter Hill, soundtrack by Ry Cooder called Southern Comfort.

Curly Bill was his GOAT role to me, but this runs a close second for nostalgia purposes

    wow, nice one.
Crazy thing about that clip; the 1 armed Cajun steals the scene.

I think I looked him up years ago on IMDB - this was his only movie and he is now deceased. Walter Hill must of recruited a ton of local talent for this - as evidenced by the final town scene. This particular gentleman was superb.

Every time I watch that movie I am astounded how well it holds up. Tremendous casting and Booth's character is great. The great dialogue, local flavor and acting talent and a bending, disgusting, dirty soundtrack guarantees this movie's place in American cinema history. Believe that.
