I hate to say it but seems very standard 90% of the time I click on these links for the murder story I see a picture of a black guy.
Weird story. Not exactly how you think of a shooting at a strip club to play out.
Odd story for sure.
remember those anti smoking campaigns the american cancer society did in the 60/70's. you know the posters that shed light on what smoking can do in a high level acceptable way. which was much lighter than it is be shown today. with all those graphic lung cancer commercials.
these need to be photoshopped for poker players. any overweight or degen person will work as a pic. just change it to poker is very glamorous
Story leaves many questions unanswered:
Whose gun? Poker player's criminal history? Convicted felon?
Does the poker player work there?
Carelessness or gun malfunction?
Seems like if the guy has no serious record and it was an accident, might be a probation case. The son seems a cut above in terms of character than the average FSU pro prospect. A real shame.
I bet the family is cheering him on for the civil suit! Look who is in 25th place in the main event...
Jesus..... he may ship it.
Didn't realize there was a thread about this. Paul was indeed a reg in the pit at PBKC and I played with him many times from 2010-2013. You used to get free food in the pit and Paul ("Haitian Paul" as we called him) would order a bunch of food and hand it off to his friends/fam lol. Then PBKC cracked down on free food (partially because of him) and switched to a different comp system.
Having said that, he was always very nice to me and I generally liked him
No More "pit" either.... they moved it to the back and put in table games where the pit used to be. They do offer a free lunch if you play in the "pit" game but that's a far way from a true "comp system".
He's in the bottom 25% now but he's got chips and a chair..... should be interesting
