Interesting how her statement about him is positive, even after what happened.
I assume she feels some guilt over what happened, and is now hoping he reads it and feels better about her, thus lowering his desire to kill more people.
Kinda surprised he's running rather than going out in a blaze of glory. What does he see as his best case result? Being caught and going to prison for life? Because there's no way he's completely going to get away. He's way too high profile in the news at this point, and his entire senseless crime was broadcast on Facebook on purpose.
I figured he would go into a crowd and fire indiscriminately until someone took him out, but apparently he thinks he can get away.

Another thing that's odd is before he killed the random he was parked right outside of his girlfriends work talking on facebook live about what he's about to do, why didn't he just walk inside and start mowing down people? he could have maximized kills and also possibly killed her in the process but instead he drives a block away to smoke some random old guy? Also he did not kill on facebook live, it is confirmed that he uploaded the video to facebook from his phone but all the other videos were of him on facebook live.
There was a guy in Seal Beach that slaughtered his wife and 7 others because of a custody dispute. His neighbors called him a nice guy. Another guy named Brian Short killed his wife and his kids and then himself due to financial problems. His coworkers called him a nice guy too. Sometimes nice guys snap. I think this Black THUG is enjoying being in the news and will try to prolong this as long as possible.
If they don't catch him in a few days and he hasn't committed suicide then he probably will show up on some form of social media again. This guy was looking for attention and he wasn't getting enough of it (at least in his eyes) from his gf, friends, and family.
While money never brings back a life which is infinitely more important I am curious to see how much the verified gofundme account will raise in donations for the victims family.

Not to sound callous, but once the guys funeral expenses and other related incidentals are covered, what's the point of the donation money? The guy was mid 70s; I highly doubt he was working and providing for anyone. And I'm sure they will sue his estate in civil court and get anything the shooter has anyways, if anything

So his phone pings off a tower in Erie, PA over 36 hours before they catch him up in that area? He got lucky as hell not to be found earlier and got a great hiding place for his car I suppose. Stephens went through the drive-thru at the McDonald's on Buffalo Road in Erie, PA when one of the workers recognized him. He ordered a 20-piece McNugget and a large fry ... but workers made it seem the fries weren't ready so they could buy time.
According to the restaurant's manager ... Stephens got his nuggets, but then said he had to go and he drove off without the fries. It was enough time for cops to get on his tail.
