Returning from east coast trip to NYC/Atlantic City/Lancaster (Amish country)/Philly

As much as I like to criticize Caesars, I can't agree that their properties are "miserable" or "dumps".

Maybe this is true in certain small markets, but there is a decent/good Caesars property in every market I've visited.

In fact, Caesars Palace itself just had a renovation of the Augustus Tower in 2016, and the place looks a hell of a lot better.

Yes, there are better hotels in some towns with Caesars properties, but aside when I stay at Rio for WSOP, I never think to myself, "This place is a shithole" when staying at a Caesars property.

If there's a reason to hate Caesars, it's their poor operational procedures and often poor treatment of their good customers.

Caesars Palace in Vegas has a decent spa and their spa robes are very durable and soft.

Oh, I forgot to mention.

I considered taking Uber from Newark Airport to Manhattan, but they weren't at all competitive.

I paid $58 before tolls and tip to a large cab (which could hold all of our bags), and Uber didn't offer anything even close to that price.

Even had I only required a standard car, Uber would have been more expensive.

Anyone know why that is?

I've never taken Uber before.

I actually drive a gypsy cab part time now..

About 4 hours a night. Only rookies and housewives drive Uber around here. The only one making $ on Uber , IS UBER..

Dont do airport runs unless your a willing participant in financial sodomy.. otherwise I can make more in less time just staying in the "hood"..

I picked up 3 drunk Mexicans the other day going to 3 different residence (close to each other).

The fair should have been $8 for the first then $7 and $7 for the other 2..

I charged the first one $15.
As he took out two crumbled $20,s out while staggering and drooling, I then proceeded to pocket the $40 and thanked him for the general tip.

The second was just as bad and when I got too his house , I informed him with broken English and Spanish that it will be $25(please).

He agreed and then asked how much for his friend who was nearly passed out.
I said just give me another $20 for him.

He gave me about $48 bucks couse that's all he had. I told him thanks but was pissed over the $3 tip..

The 3 rd Mexican was almost passed out but I woke him and asked for some $ for the personalized service..

He Put his had in his pocket and a stack of 20,s fell out.
I picked it up and give him back 3 of them and considered the rest of the 20,s ($280) a very generous passenger..

He fell back asleep with his Samsung galaxy active in his hand..
As I woke him up again and tried to request payment (lol)

He just mumbled and left..

I couldn't bill him twice but the phone is great!!!!
