This is crazy. Final table 5 of 6 events. Ivey has cashed in every event he played this year. Matusow said Ivey will win 5 mil if he gets a bracelet. Most other people(on the internet) say 2 million.

Who holds the record for most final tables in a year, and who is it, how many?
I just don't get how he does this.
I mean, I am not the player Phil Ivey is, but I go through spots in these events where the deck shuts me down or I take beat after beat and feel like I can't cash no matter what I do.
But somehow this isn't happening to Ivey. Just makes final table after final table.
Pretty amazing, and I'm not able to explain it. Perhaps it's the intimidation factor, where opponents are playing differently against Phil Ivey than they do against Todd Witteles?
