Guessing this isn't the first time this has happened in that area, locals probably look at it like you do minor earthquakes. plus it looks far enough away from the town to not really have much of a consequence...but it probably looks bad as fuck while you're sitting in your nook sipping on a cup of morning joe.
I worked with a guy last year who died in an avalanche in the Swiss Alps. There was also a case this year of two doctors dying in one in the Quebec mountains.
