Honestly this is a great point but it's flawed in two ways. One being if you let them go without consequence not paying for their child they'll continue the trend. If you imprison them you take away from whatever potential earnings they might accrue. So what are we left with? like is it crazy that we force these people to work? even if they are unable to find jobs, we can have them picking litter up on the side of the street at least and take that money and put it towards his child support bills.

but it gets crazy because its like, we're essentially paying for that same dude to work to pay his own kids child support and probably also gets taxed.

like, as crazy as it sounds i feel like the most optimal game strategy is to toss them in jail to at least show them this is there reality if you do not continue paying.
