Easiest way to win a bracket pool is like this.

Get the odds of teams winning the tournament. Pick every favorite in every game.

I have won mine like 3 of the last 4 or 5 years doing this.

Duke and NC are the two top favorite teams this year. I have 18 runners in my pool and I am the only one who has carolina and nobody picked duke.

Picking any upsets will usually cost you money

That really is a super ridiculously good protip. Especially if you are in a league with all sports fans. Everyone is gonna try to get cute. I stopped doing these a long time ago and there were always women and non basketball fans filling out chalk brackets so it never felt right to go this route.

Could change depending on the # of entries but I still think picking any major upset teams to get to the elite 8 will fuck you. In a year like this I think once u get to the elite 8 you could more or less mix it up however you want etc because the odds were pretty close for a lot of teams.
