Been trying to upload a few pics which are in JPEG format but just discovered they exceed the bandwidth as they are 3.5meg.
Can i get some advice to compress these files or could the bandwidth be increased ?

Was really asking as there may have been preffered software to use and i am not familiar , however , thanks for the sarcastic response.

Go to imageshack.us
Upload your photo there.
Once upload, you will get this screen.
You want to copy the link I circled.
Now go back to your thread, and insert image via URL. Shown below.
Just click ok and you should be all set.
If you get a weird pop up, or a pop up saying file is too large. Just un-check the box that says: Retrieve remote file and reference locally.

Lew is on point. Imgur is currently the best image repository that allows hot-linking. You can load your pics with drag and drop (if using Firefox as your browser) and they do not police the contents.Originally Posted by lewfather
