    Blackchip Poker - Jackpot tournaments

I was bored last week and deposited $50 onto Blackchip Poker. They have these 3 man SNGs starting at .69 cents, $6.90 and $69. When you register a slotmachine type deal spins and you can play for supposedly up to $1,000,000. I played a few and never hit a jackpot.....we were always playing for $13.80 winner take all at the $6.90 level. Then I just played one and hit the jackpot for $6900. We were immediately asked if we wanted to chop. It was an even chop for $2300 each. One guy said no. So we played it out. $5175 for 1st, $1035 for 3nd and $690 for 3rd. I took it down and now wonder what my chances are of actually getting the money off the site? Anyone have any experience with Blackchip?

Just read their thread on 2+2. I've never played there, but it seems a decent chance you'll eventually get your cash out. It might bounce once or twice, but it seems they eventually make it right. You have to generate 10% rakeback of original deposit. You said you only played a few, make sure you play like a dozen for them to recoup their $5 before even trying to withdraw. If they gave you a sign up bonus or anything, make sure you clear it before trying. You don't want to wait a month only for them to put it back in your account and start whole
process over. It seems like it will be a semi pain in the ass, but I'd bet you'll eventually get it. You might want to split it into a few withdrawals and keep grinding the small tourneys while waiting. Sites always accommodate someone generating rake before the $50 deposit and big withdrawal guy. Congrats on score.

agree with BCR on the rake generation aspect of it...

ive been playing on WPN (the network black chip is on) for 3 or so years and have had a lot of withdrawals...I think over that time I have had maybe 1 check bounce and I don't even know if I had 1 bounce...usually the one free check a month (if you choose check over bitcoin) comes within 2 weeks at worst, which in this day in age is phenomenal...

    congrats on the hit...

Black chip poker was the site Jasep was always pushing. Funny as I always pictured it as black cock poker.

They've been around a while so your chances of getting the money off should be reasonable.

    Oh, and ...

If you withdraw with bitcoing the whole process takes about 24 hours. Or you can just let it roll in their sportsbook since it's March Madness. Insane needle in the haystack type hit there!!! You could probably play 10,000 more of those and never get it again.

Wow it's actually less likely. If we are to believe them it was a 15,000 to 1 just to land on 6900. Then you had to go on to win the thing.

Bitcoin cashout should be the fastest. If you deposited by credit card you will most likely have to send a copy of that in along with your license to get paid.

Once your account is verified for cashouts (this can take a few days on BCP) you should be able to get a bitcoin cashout in as quick as a few hours but most of the time within a 24 hour period.

If you cashout another way like check it will take longer and you might have some fees but this network does pay.

I would play a few more games for sure but starting the cashout verification process as soon as you can is fine because as I mentioned it can take a few days.

I'd leave at least your initial deposit on there and not cashout every penny.

As mentioned already they do have a sportsbook on there and at times their lines aren't updated as quickly as other books so maybe that is something you are interested in.

Congrats on the score. I've looked up a lot of the big winners graphs on sharkscope back when they tracked them and rarely do huge multipliers go for people who have played thousands of jackpots. WPN has made it so sharkscope can't track jackpots anymore but when they did I'd go look and see most of the time the people have a few hundred or less games played who won which is likely a coincidence but still seems weird.

Back when you could look up jackpots one mega fish did hit for I believe 25k drawing at the $10s twice over a few week time span. This guy had played a bit on the network and his sharkscope was the worst I've ever seen prior to winning. He took the money to 5/10+ NL and donated a bunch to them guys from what I read.

I will be the first to admit that I don't know Black Chip very well, nor do I play on the Winning Poker Network.

However, provided your deposit isn't linked to some kind of bonus, I wouldn't worry about withdrawing it all.

They fully expect such a thing will happen when they run these jackpot tournaments.

I'm not sure about the payout times these days, but I find it unlikely that they will reject you for not playing enough.

Furthermore, the money will be mostly reimbursed to them, as the jackpot was on the network level, meaning that they will receive most of your withdrawal back via a "reconciliation" payment, which is a fancy way of saying you won a bunch of money mostly collected via the network's other skins.

FYI......Black Chip required me to be "Certified" which meant sending in a copy of my ID and a utility bill as well as pic of the credit card used to deposit funds. That took a few days to get done. Once I was certified I requested a BTC withdrawal on Sunday evening and I received the money on Tuesday.

Hadn't seen this until today but I've cashed out on both ACR and Black Chip Poker and have had reasonable cash out times via bitcoin (Normally 48-72 hours).

If you have close friends also looking for funds the Player to Player Transfer option works as well. I'd highly recommend not selling to strangers though as that is how a lot of the scams happen. Druff just covered one of these big scams where the guy was using Paypal
