France is a beautiful country.

Granted it has problems with muslim ghettos. Especially around the suburbs of Paris. But I bet the violent crime rate in say, American ghettos, is way higher than anywhere in France.


France imo is rightfully top 10, and I would definitely live there if it wasn't full of French people.

While the assimilation-free hellholes in France are growing and becoming more dubious, the reason that everyone flocks to France is because of the benefits.

I would not want to live there for a number of reasons but there are reasons migrants to live there:

-Cash grant of 316 euros/month for a single adult and 267 euros for partners and adult children
-Meals must be paid for. If meals are provided, cash grant is 93 or 76 euros per month.
-Must do unpaid community service as step towards integrating or risk losing part of the grant; cannot work elsewhere for first 3-6 months.
-Can apply to receive up to 1,000 euros to return home.
-On approval: three years’ state-financed housing; full welfare benefits, schooling, day care and child benefit; language lessons and help with finding a job.

And French public benefits are much different than the US. You get a government funded nanny to come to your house to help with laundry and shit while you are on paid maternity leave, which is lengths longer than the average US maternity leave. There are all kinds of programs where you essentially get a big chunk of money for breathing air and taking a poop at the end of the day.
