My failure to recognize faces is legend to those who know me. My brain is absolutely worthless to me when it comes to faces.
My wife is almost deaf. Long story there. She lip reads. Very focused on faces. If you show her Christian Bales' baby picture she would immediately tell you the star's name. She can identify grammar school friends on the street 30 years later.
I would walk by my own mother.
I 100% live in my own head like some Aspergers kid. She is 100% in the moment.
