Last year, in this event, I baited some hyper-aggro kid to my left to squeeze me and one other player out of the BB when I was holding AA.

A semi-shortstack opened in late position. I had AA, and cold-called on the button, figuring that the aggro kid in the SB would try to squeeze us out. Indeed, that's just what he did. The original raiser thought for a long time and finally reluctantly called with AQ. I snap-called with my AA obviously.

Aggro kid turned over KT.

Board came J high, and safe-looking. Turn was K, river was T, to put me in third place and bust me.



I'll be hoping for better luck this year.
