This is pretty much a head-to-head street fight between Casey Affleck and Denzel Washington, with Ryan Gosling a distant third, according to oddsmakers. Affleck opened as -475 front runner for his somber role in Manchester by the Sea, but with Washington picking up the SAG Award for his part in Fence, the market has dramatically swung.

Denzel opened +360 and is now -114, slightly behind Affleck at his adjusted price of -152. Some online books are still offering Washington at plus-money, sitting +120 to win the Oscar for Best Actor.
