I have a feeling I'm going to be pissed off when the deal is announced.

Me too, but there's nothing for it. Looks like daddy Phil Tom was well involved in bringing Scott back to Amerika. Meanwhile, if you want more details of Scott's surrender, plus some highlights of the cheating stuff, go here:

Also, it's sort of funny that it hasn't even been mentioned anywhere on 4 yet. What a disaster of a forum that place has become.
Excellent article. It has a lot of attitude and punch.
Clear as day, I see Brent Beckley's name all over the documents. Removed all doubt that he was just a harmless processor.
Another in a long list of "light regulation" triumphs of justice. Some folks never learn.
Fun stuff if you're a journalist. 10 years and the gifts just keep on giving
Glad to see another article highlighting Scott's cheating.
It's really too bad he won't face any charges for any of it.
If he does return to the US permanently, I wonder if a class-action civil case could be filed against him, for both the cheating and (perhaps more easily) the theft of funds discovered after the Black Friday bust.
BUMP
He pled down to a single misdemeanor, meaning a maximum of 2 years in prison. He'll probably get much less.
Ugh.
Scroll down to the comments section. Calvin Ayre himself congratulated him! WTF??

Of course Ayre congratulated him, Ayre hates the US govt.
Slap on the wrist indeed: http://www.flushdraw.net/news/scott-...day-plea-deal/
I trust you've learned something about light regulation and justice that you can use going forward.
Calvin Ayre is prolly holding out for knighthood and a title.
The legal system for some things in this world is really pathetic.
Scott Tom belongs behind bars at least for a few years. He can share a cell with Jennifer Larson who likely won't see any punishment at all for the ponzi scam she was involved in.
