LOTR was pretty good considering not my type of movies. but i will go see the hobbit just cause
Also being shot in 48fps for a better 3-D experience. Early footage that was shown had people saying it looked less like a film and more like a BBC program.

FYP, you can get in line behind me --Return of the King was the first movie since Michael Keaton's Batman and Lethal Weapon that I've seen at the movies more than once. And if my nerdery is still in question I have read the LOTR trilogy and the Hobbit at least a dozen times, PLUS I've read the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales... Back of the line Templar
