Unfortunately many children who were molested (especially boys) end up growing up to commit acts of molestation themselves.

Some of it might have to do with genetics, if the molested child is directly related to the molester, but in cases like these, it's usually due to psychological damage.

Not that this excuses it or that they shouldn't be prosecuted, but it highlights just how long-term damaging to MANY people a single molestation can be.

Bottom line is that people proven to have molested children under 13 should be locked away for life.
