Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I've lost both my parents in the last 5 years. In fact today marks exactly one year since my mom passed and tomorrow would have been my fathers birthday so I'm sort of reliving what you're going thru. It gets easier but the hardest parts for me have been those times where I want to share something with them. I liked what Jamie Foxx said in his Oscar acceptance speech about losing his grandmother . He said he still talks to her but now it's only in his dreams and that he can't wait to go to bed to tell her all about his day.

They pulled the plug on my grandpa this morning. It's not exactly a tragedy since he was 94.

My dad having a fatal heart attack at 62 sucked a lot worse.

So I've been there. You'll wake up tomorrow and it will hit you that it wasn't a dream, and he's really gone. Stuff will happen that you wish you could tell him about. But it hurts a little less every day, and you just need to lean on your family and friends for support.
