    Australian Open 2017

Unreal tournament thus far with jokeovic losing to a roided uzbek. Murray is the absolute worst and I hope Querrey beats him.

FEDERER TO WIN THE WHOLE THING IMO.

Yep on it. Murray defence outstanding. He will see off this set against Americas finest then its a 3 love breeze.

And with Djokovic gone Sir Andy will not fuck this up, especially here where he's suffered the most pain.

    Murray>Lendl>unstoppable

Fed got fucked by the draw having to go through Berdych, Nishikori, and Murray just to make the semis. Zero chance. Hopefully the Stanimal can spare us the pusher vs serve-bot final that it looks like it's shaping up to be.

Fed is easily in the top 5 of all time greatest living (or dead) sportsman.

As for Murray. I'm biased and want him to win every tournament he plays. But why do so many dislike him?

For me, he never leaves nothing on the court, and even tho he's not the most naturally talented player on the circuit, he's grafted his way to 3 Slams and 2 Olympic Golds.

Is also the current world #1

Murray is a great athlete and probably the fastest guy on the tour, but he gets a lot of hate for his constant whining, faking injuries, and being a pusher rather than a shot maker. If he doesn't finally get over the hump in Australia with Djoker out, he never will. He's basically even money to win now with Nole out. Also, wtf is up with Rafa's hair? Did Negreanu hook him up with his hair plugs guy or what? Time to shave it off. Shit looks ridiculous.

Ya he gets plenty of hate in the UK for his on-court whining. But that's just his game. Rather that than a Kyrgios, who is a disgrace to the sport imo.

And not sure about him blagging injury. Djok is the worst for that and even tricked Murray in a previous Aussie Slam final into believing he was struggling bad. Murray was cruising at the time but Djok's angle shoot completely turned the match on its head.

Agreed. Not to sidetrack with stupid lists. Federer could have been the greatest shortstop and bat for average baseball ever saw.

Bar room argument. Swap one or two but Federer belongs. Who could hit a ball coming at you at 140mph - and put spin and control on it? The speed to get to it?

    In no order
Hand/eye, reflex, speed, raw athletic ability
Each could play any sport and dominate.

    Bruce Lee
    Federer
    Dion Sanders
    Jordan
    Bo Jackson

Soz Sanlmar, that was meant to be green.

Couldn't comment on the bottom 3 of your list. But if we're talking hand/eye etc... then a Indian cricketer called Sachin Tendulkar is probably the finest I've seen along with Fed

From personal experience you have this wrong.. A good blooded american who has two forehands that played baseball his whole life and only tennis as a joke could actually win a tourney with all rich faggots. Being left handed and hitting a 2 handed forehand always helps at 16 then when u blow one by them with a one handed right forehand noone nos wtf is going on. To bad baseball conflicted with tennis season.

I saw a documentary on Tendulkar. I had no idea what cricket was about at the start of the film. But the Tendulkar story was so epic that I couldn't stop watching.

I need to find it and revisit

Just to clarify though. Are we assuming that baseball is actually a sport?

Used to play it in school and our sports teacher always claimed its status as major sport was farcical.

Also dubious about darts, snooker and pool. Although The Mosconi Cup was decent again last month.

Hitting a ball with a racket isn't the same as a baseball. You might have a point if he was playing Cricket due to the wider bat used.

As it's returning as an Olympic sport and they're holding a WBC again this year. Baseball is still played in more countries as a pro sport then American Football is. (major quality league play in US Mexico Dominica Japan South Korea Canada just to name a few).

Any sick fucks besides me have any late night/early morning WTA action? I've got Duan +185 over Venus, who withdrew from doubles with an elbow injury for a sweat.

The sweet spot of a racquet is a pretty small area.

It's not much of a story but ...

I registered my son for little league one year for 9 year olds. I did not want to coach but they didn't have anyone.

I didn't know the kids and there was a draft. I took any kid that ever played tennis. I knew who they were as I saw them at the tennis club. We went undefeated.

The tennis kids knew how to keep their head on the ball through contact. They knew how to square up their body and rotate hips. They saw a similar pace on a similar size ball. They had infinitely more "touches" in tennis than any baseball kid sees at the plate.

    Baseball and tennis translate well.

So fast forward 10 years. I took one of those youth kids who never touched a tennis racquet after age 12. He played baseball and hockey. Kid comes to work out and I put him on the court and got him rated 4.5 Kid is quite an athlete

You either got it or you don't.

Can we just take a moment as a collective to laugh at lotf's disregard for MICHAEL JORDAN. I mean we get that you're from the uk and all, but as a human being occupying this planet you look like a top class dickhead acting like you've never seen MJ ball.
