there's a big reason why he played in this underground game: cocaine

So when dudes like JStat and others who tell this guy to go to law enforcement, i echo the same sentiments of snake. waste of time. they will laugh him out the door as soon as they hear cocaine induced wagering with people in their homes.

if you want to be a whale and degen it up then go to to a casino. he'd have the 500k if he had done that.

so after seeing the red I decided I must've missed something. so I went back and actually listened.

yeah my above statement is retarded as fuck. he didn't play in a. casino bc he was self excluded. that doesn't explain why he didn't just go to another state to gamble (he could afford it obviously).

but I digress. degen wanted to degen and got fucked and me out of all people should be able to sympathize with that.

OP posted yesterday that 2 of the 5 made arrangements and/or paid separately including Racener and Zaki No major details other than it was $200K of the $500K and he's happy with those two guys all of a sudden. He didn't elaborate but says some of the story was off.

Mods took away his Yayo title. More to come.

First thread on 2+2 I've read ina long time. Interesting but still painful to slug through.

It sounded to me like he played in this game because he wanted to play blackjack, and was self excluded from all of the local casinos that deal blackjack, so he complained about this to them, and they said they would book blackjack for him. Without the nose candy, why the fuck would this guy go and play there? Probably because he wanted to play blackjack, and it was his only local option.

$200K paid and now it's all a big misunderstanding... Marc on his way to LV.

At least he got something, doubt Zima will ever give him a dime. That dude is the classic #libtard hypocrite that sets around and rails against something he regularly participates in . . .

I am guessing that Racener and Zaki coughed up the $200k because they realized it would probably cost them more in lost opportunities going forward than to simply cough up the money.

I'm also guessing that perhaps they were worried that he might end up going to the FBI or something on them, and they would be risking prison, as well. They could still go to prison for running the game, but it's now much less serious now that the scamming angle is removed (at least for the two of them).

I have a feeling that he had to make an announcement on Twitter praising/exonerating them, in exchange for the $200k being paid.

    And then we have this...

So suddenly it was all just a giant misunderstanding, PLUS Racener didn't get him fired.

    Uh huh.

Racener probably said, "Dude, you completely ruined my rep in the poker world. I'll pay you, and Zaki will pay you, but only if you undo the damage by posting that the whole thing was a misunderstanding."

Klang was likely willing because of the amount of money involved.

Also keep in mind that this has been going on since October!

We just heard about it last week, but this is a 3-month-old situation.

Clearly this was not a "miscommunication", nor was everything "above board" if it took this long (and a public media shaming) to get paid their part.

So much hate on the 2+2 thread because he's changed his tune.

I really don't blame Marc at all, I'd do the same thing to get paid.

Cheap way out really, he'll never go to the feds now, and if they contact him which is unlikely he will say nothing... doubt he'll get another penny.

Good luck to him, seems like a nice enough degen.

I'm surprised Marc hasn't asked Todd to take Raceners name out of the title like he did on the other site. Talk about turning the other cheek. Now , it was just a big understanding.(que the laughtrack) If someone got me fired from a six figure a year job I wouldn't be singing his praises certainly. Its good to see Marc got paid a substantial amount, i'm wondering how long before he loses that money back. You know he is going to be back playing blackjack at Raceners. Degens going to degen. Racener went to employer because wanted Marc to face jail time most likely so that this would go away. I agree with salty anus that he was a nice enough degen which is why I was glad to see him paid at least partially.

    Entire thread minus OP gone!

Says at bottom he made a deal with Zima and that's that.

I imagine he got PAID, something decent any ways. Thing is, damage done imo, local and "Federal" I means it's the web, it just doesn't go away like that. If law wanted to move on him they could, watch him closely now etc.

Zima was a goof, should have paid right away, his name is mud now and the law is aware, for what? What could he actually have saved, more damage then any money was worth.

Hi, I saved $50k and got this prison sentence and IRS issue instead, great play lol

The tweet I posted was from Marc Klang. He said that Zima paid him, and owes him no more money.

This tweet was made after I mocked Zima on Twitter for asking people to trade bitcoin with him.

Apparently the tweet was Klang's first announcement that Zima had paid him.
