Just caught up. I am guessing that all else being equal this is a standard plea deal for this kind of crime, like others have said especially for a women who was committing the crime with a group of men.

I will say though, that if the races had ben reversed, the media and other race baiting entities would have gotten 10000000000000000000000000000000 times more involved, and there would have been a lot political/mob pressure to throw the book at the criminals, and I am sure the sentence would have either been worse as a result or there literally would be a race riot if it wasn't.

So I don't think this is an issue of bias per se. I think all else being equal this is probably how our justice system works when the media doesn't get involved. I will say that when the media and the SJW mob get involved in other cases there can be bias due to political considerations, and this gives us a warped perception of how the Justice system works.

All else being equal, I think we would be surprised just how lenient our justice system is, and how hard it is for most people to end up with extended prison sentences. Of course there are a lot of basically career criminals, so they do eventually end up with long prison sentences after getting a lot of chances.

Where I think the system might be unfair, and may even be racist, is that the bias is to assume everyone is guilty and then to give them some sort of plea deal. So innocent people are sometimes forced to plead guilty for crimes they didn't commit, or are found guilty after sham trials where they were always going to be found guilty. But for the most part if the person is actually guilty of a crime, and enters into a plea deal, the sentence is going to be surprisingly light.

Of course the obvious take home message of all of this is that the true race agitators and racists are the media, but we already know this. So nothing new here.

Looked it up and the other three were sentenced.

Tesfaye Cooper got 7 years.

Jordan Hill got 8 years.

Tanisha Covington, the older sister of the girl who videod the whole thing, got 3 years, which was surprising, since Brittany Covington only got probation after serving 10 months in jail.

It's possible they were harder on Tanisha because she was the oldest of the four by a wide margin -- 26.

Hill got the longest sentence because he also stole a car and sent text messages demanding $300 for the kid's return. Honestly this punk should've gotten more than 8 years, but at least he didn't get a slap on the wrist.
