Best two bedroom suite in Vegas?

Thinking about taking a trip with the family late Feb early March. Penthouse suite in Bellagio looked to be the best bang for the buck given what I'm looking for. Anything else on the strip that I should be looking for? Not looking to spend more than a grand a night. Need two bedrooms min.

    I haven't been out there since 2005.

Stick with Bellagio. They have really nice suites.

I'd stay at the Excalibur before I'd stay at the Bellagio again, but thats me.

I just stayed at the Aria and I walked away very impressed.

I've heard nice things about the Aria. For what I'd want there I don't think is in the budget. Bellagio has the pick up/drop off from airport as well as the Chairman's lounge access. Seems like you get quite a bit for the money. I grant you penthouse suite may be a stretch considering there are several suites above that price point but location, price and amenities...I haven't seen anything better.

Then roll with it. You can't argue location. I went to the hip for a jr suite 6 years ago and ended up in a corner room 3 miles away from the elevator, a toilet seat that was worn out (can't make it up), and a tube Sony trinitron that was outdated then. Add in the fact I was playing $25 craps and the dealer treated me like I was a second class citizen and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Try Airbnb as another option rather than booking through a hotel. They have a number of private suites across the strip.

We stayed in the Vdara and got a great 2 bed suite for $600/night - would recommend.

depending on when you are going I think Vdara might be in your price range...don't have a casino, but right next door to Aria...

Bellagio might be nicer since (i think) the vdara rooms were originally built to be condos...so the vdara rooms would be more functional than I'm sure what the Bellagio would have....

I stayed in one of their regular rooms this past summer and it was perfectly nice...

EDIT: yup bellybuster beat me to it...

They put you in a salon suite. Those are fake suites. The real suites are the ones that need you to swipe your room key in the elevator to select your floor. I would never pay $1000/night for any room in Vegas. Every suite that I have ever stayed in was by bribing the front desk clerk. My biggest score was a 2000 sq ft suite at the Bellagio for a total cost of $100, I didn't even have a reservation when I went.
