How to find out your Uber passenger rating (you're welcome Druff for the great google SEO)

If you didn't already know after you complete a trip you rate your driver, but your driver also rates you. If the driver's rating falls below a certain point they get kicked off the system (it differs by city but they usually can't dip below 4.6 or 4.5). As a passenger you won't get kicked out for having a low rating, but having a low rating will cause more drivers to reject your ping which makes it more difficult to get picked up (which means longer wait times).

My uber rating is 4.84. My 2016 year to date stats on # rides taken:
Uber: 64 rides
Lyft: 55 rides

I don't think you can find out your Lyft passenger rating online (unless you ask your driver).

Yes. It's definitely default to give drivers 5 stars (and vice versa) unless they do something wrong. My friend friend (small young Asian girl) had an uber driver make creepy sexual remarks to her the whole way. I asked her what rating she gave the driver and she said 3 stars, lol. If I see a driver with a 4.6 or lower I generally know something will go wrong (messy car, will take a terrible route, talk on phone, etc).

It's a lot of rides, but may of them are like $6. I live in the city and don't own a car. I still save a ton of money by not having a car, even if I spend $1k/yr on ride share. Parking in my neighborhood is $200/mo.

Also, you can e-mail Lyft and they'll tell you your rating. Apparently I'm perfect on Lyft.

If I used this service I'd give six stars if they talked on the phone. Cabbie small talk has never made my life better. Seven stars if their convo is in a foreign language.

Uber/Lyft now being in Vegas is great. So much cheaper than taxis. And the trips are all cheap since you're usually only going a mile, but you know walking a mile on the strip is a nightmare. Bally's to Wynn was $5. Sucks for the drivers tho

plus i rented a car once and it cost me a bunch of money even tho i tried to cheap skate it out. i get comps all around town for food etc, it's actually just cheaper to uber vegas than it is to rent a car plus deal with the headache of driving/being drunk etc literally i love it. also i constantly get fares comped on the app because i dont use it THAT often. makes it even cheaper, like i got a $100 lyft comp that im gonna use in vegas while im there in january.

i've had two taxi drivers give me static before, one in vegas and one in seattle

vegas was for a ride from the palms to the rio in +100 degree heat. seattle was from the W to the Doubletree which is uphill and i was carrying a display for the conference i was attending

the cab driver in seattle talked shit the whole way saying i was ruining his business (even though i told him i would tip well), and outright refused payment when i handed him a business amex.

i've taken short trips via uber and have never had a bad experience. it's amazing how much shit cab drivers talk without fear of losing their job
