So I played all night the other night. I generally stay away from casinos these days, but I was bored. I had never seen a game quite like this.
Now I was not betting big, I generally only had only a couple hundred going in each bet at any given time, so not big stakes. This was better than true hold 'em poker since its so much faster and you did not have to deal with burnouts betting against you.
You sit down and have a non forced bet in trips (in my case it was usually $50) and two other bets below it (in my case $50 a piece, so $150 total on the table, these are forced antes). You get your two cards before the flop and you can get bet 4X against the dealer who is basically the community cards. On the flop, you can bet up to 2X upon showing of the cards. There is no turn, the next two cards get turned over at once and you can bet 1X your bet if you have not already done so.
Very fun game. I spent like 7 hours there, and I walked out with about $1,700. Not a lot I get it but fun times if you are looking for a Hold 'Em experience without the fucking mind numbing hassle of dealing with 8 knobs across from you.
Here is what I was playing (you have to suffer through the first 20 seconds of an infomercial from a mind numbing asshole to get to the game)
