    Fair question:

The prize pool is $120. If there is a 2-way tie & since there are only 2 places paid then each participant gets $60. If there is a 3-way tie then each participant will get $40 etc. There are no tie breakers.

If, by chance, there is an outright winner for the $100 & there is more than a 2-way tie for 2nd I will pledge a minimum of $10 to all the participants involved in the tie.

    Hopefully this clarifies it.

This is Hockeyguy's competition, I am just the help. I included popcorn's picks but if he is ineligible then I will remove them next post. I tried to PM HG the source spreadsheet but Druff has that feature disabled or I'm too dumb to figure it out.

Anyone that wants it, PM me an email address and I will send it. I have TheTemplars so I will send it to him as a backup.

There may be 2 Ogilvy's playing this week. Just want to clarify mine is Geoff. Thank you.

I almost clarified with you earlier but since Joe spells his name Ogilvie I put you down for Geoff.

SloppyJoe should give Lehman and Couples a call and ask why they aren't playing. At least everybody else picked players in the tournament.

It means your man got a 2 on a par 5. It's better than a regular hole in one.

I'll make a bet for almost any amount that this will not be the case.

None. I think it looks a bit stronger than it actually is because of the angle. I have moved to a fairly strong grip though, which has has helped immensely with the club face angle at impact. I'm actually striking the ball now the best I ever have.

I said I never watch any golf, but didn't Fred Couples have a decent showing in this year's Masters? I could be way off..

Drexel can confirm everything said here is 100% accurate.

    Fantasy US Open Freeroll Contest
Same as the Master’s Pool with a few tweeks.
    Rules:

    3) If one of your picks or more does not make the cut, whatever he finished after 2 rounds will be added to the
score, i.e. if Dustin Johnson is +10 after day 2, you will have 10 points automatically added.

This is a slight issue that probably won't matter in the end, but with a tourney where a lot of the guys who make the cut will have higher scores over the weekend, to "lock in" a missed cut player score could be an advantage. Obv you should be penalized ( fairly substantially IMO) for a guy missing the cut.

Again this probably isn't going to matter for top score just thought I would throw it out there.

I am pretty high so I could be just mixed up and not thinking clearly if I am off base.

This possibility did cross my mind & was the reason I upped the DNF & DQ'd scores from +7 in the Master's pool to +18 in this one.

You are absolutely correct in saying you might be better off for your guy missing the cut or withdraw when he's +18 with 3 hole to play on Friday but I think the top 2 will actually have nobody miss the cut. I think it also gives hope if you only have one guy miss the cut & there is carnage on the weekend. A missed cut this weekend isn't the end of the world. You still have a chance & it will be great to follow just for the lulz.
