top 10 in chips get to pick sweet prizes, games available are poker, slots, roulette, blackjack and craps.
This shit show will run for about 2 hours...I assume craps with Max odds is the best bet to take home a prize or go busto?
10k in chips with Max bet of 5k.
So anyone have good advice on how to max my chances? Normally I'd just drink a ton but have to pick up my kid later that night...so I went this to be worth my time.
If you want to play the casino games then you need to consider how many runners in the field...bigger field requires you have more chips to win a spot in the top 10...so the field size would help determine how slow/fast to play and how much risk to take
assuming 250 people and i've got 2 hours to kill, i'd go with playing slow the first hour & a quarter, playing poker or blackjack (slow games); then go to craps, starting slow with playing pass/no pass & buying a 6 or 8; then as time winds down/last 20 minutes to go play the pass line with max odds, the goal is to double or triple up...and if down to almost nothing or trailing big when time almost gone, play a Hail Mary long shot by putting it all on a single roulette number or a horn bet at the craps table
if you can count card then blackjack is good and there is not limit on how large one can spread so one could hope to have net win of about 1.25 to 2.00% on each bet...if there are multiple tables with empty seats, then you could backcount several tables and WongIn with big bets on the favorable counts
but, personally, i'd rather plunge early and double up or bust--game doesn't matter...if i bust i try go to Plan B: spend my time getting the wife of the boss drunk with a goal of giving her a holiday bonus

POker would be ideal if you can play half way decently otherwise Id have to guess the best option would be Craps.. Take a wander over to VegasCasinoTalk and pick Alan's brain dude is the craps master..
