It should look fine, especially since your insert is on the smaller side, take the stucco right to the top!

When I was house hunting in suburban New Jersey some years back, I saw a number of Guido-style Romanized interiors that put Pooh's still tacky choice to shame.

I see a lot of interior stuff at the merchandise Mart. a LOT. and at other interior designers I pick up and drop off from. modern is in. Kohler is in. Stainless steel is in. However, this last one mumbles posted looks like something i'd see walking into a hotel lobby, not in someone's house.
All points aside, I would've hoped to see some modern looking stuff here. Something where a few Barcelona's can hang out. You do know what a Barcelona is right buddy?

edit: a note about the merchandise mart: the clients we have that DO manufacture things that would fit Pooh's decorating are usually the smaller show rooms on the upper floors of the mart. Downstairs, it's all modern.
