I still live with my mom, but that's cause she doesn't have anyone else but me. Her mom had dementia so I assume she will have it when she gets to be that age or even earlier because of the unhealthy lifestyle.

Well I did say besides college. Cause you come home for the summer and winter break in dorm life...unless you were rocking an apartment instead.

I am 27 and alot of my friends still live at home but I do reside in boston. It's tough to find affordable housing. I currently pay $1700 a month for a studio loft and that is on the cheaper side of the spectrum. You can get a decent house in an affluent boston suburb for $1700 a month mortage.

I am starting to despise this city. So many transplants that stick around after university. Most of them left wing hipster dbags.

I mean I guess on a technicality I moved out at 18 when I went to college but I was still living off of my fathers tit and I came home for a year after I graduated so If I'm going to be honest with you I'd say 24.

I tip my hat to the guys who moved out at 18 and didn't go to college but are making good money nowadays. Not a long shot but you do need balls and strong will especially for you guys in my age group.

I have a bunch of friends who just said fuck college and started up a business, some crashed and burned and others killed it. I was always super jealous of the ones who were riding around in sick cars at the age of 20 who just had ambition and succeeded but even some of those dudes got fucked whether it be the market crash, kids, divorce etc.

Maybe it's just white privilege but I have always been under the impression that you make your own luck in life and nothing is ever owed to you.
