    Caviar etiquette

I bought an oz of osetra caviar from dean and deluca for $90. Admittedly, this is probably low-mid range caviar as its from russia/bulgaria and not IRAN or baluga. Never had caviar before so I want to see how it tastes before endulging in the dank grade. Sooo a couple of questions for the site's wealthier cohort:

    1) what do i put the caviar on? I've seen white bread with a thin spread of butter, but I have no clue.

    2) should I serve the caviar on ice?

    3) I have a mother of pearl spoon but could I just use wooden chop sticks?

traditional caviar spoons are mother of pearl, gold, wood, and even silver i think.

point being, youre fine with wood.

Any kind of neutral bread/cracker/toast should do. I'd go cream cheese or sour cream. Can accompany with onion, egg, shallot, pretty much anything that you'd pair with lox can also go with caviar.
