I'm also rooting for Qui Nguyen, so much that I had a dream that he won it.
Actually, I can imagine that playing against a degenerate gambler could be tough at a final table where the stakes are so high.
He's the chip leader now, leading Cliff Josephy by 2:1 in chips.

I was reminded on twitter a few times over the past week but it didn't even come to mind last night until late. The ratings have got to be piss poor for an 8pm slot at least for the first few hours because many people are watching the World Series or SNF.
ESPN sets this up for fail every year. If this did happen in July when all we have is baseball to watch it would probably do better.
I get them wanting to produce regular shows but anyone who follows poker a little has the internet and knows who is at the final table already. It also wouldn't be difficult for sponsors to snag a pro up with a few patches if they waited 48 hours or a week later to start the final table once they get down to 9.
