Jasep said it perfectly, and I agree with the structure. The only problem we may encounter is when we play the final sit and go. If we can set different chip amounts for a single tourney it would be great, but we will have to ask Belly buster if it is possible.

Ideally you would do something like

for points and give every player 100 chips per point that he earns throughout the series, however, if the option doesn't exist in the software you could also do either of these two options...

option 1

rotate the games weekly so 2 rounds each of LHE, NLHE, PLO, O8 are played and the points leader picks which game the finals are played in OR

You do a heads up tournament in the finals and 10,9,8 and 7 have to play off to get into the final 8 bracket with 7 playing 10 and 8 playing 9 and then seed the final 8 based on points.

I like this and it seems quite reasonable. I am leaning towards option 1 for the final.

I'd be in. I think an 8 week series with $10/week would be pretty standard. I don't think that logging on paypal and sending a $10 gift isn't a problem and only takes about 2 minutes. This allows late comers to join in later in the game.

Paypal fraud needs to be considered here. Chargebacks are an option, no?

Maybe let the regular season winner decide the game and format of the final match. If you win the season and you want the final game to be a turbo short-stacked game of O8 (obv dependent upon what the room can handle), then that should be the final match. Winner's choice.

You could also let the winner of each week decide the next week's tourney maybe.

I think the Final table should be decided using a poll, with only the participants voting.

If we're going to do this I think we can all agree on Jasep's format. It's well thought out & easy to keep track of & obviously somebody will have to start a thread & keep the standings updated.

If you're in, you should post in this thread now with your intentions. The Templar can then PM everybody & get the details to make the payment of $25 & when all the money is in we can start.

We should do an east coast/west coast league. Unless we're wrapped by 10pm est. I can't participate during the week.

Also schedule should allow for 2 weeks where you don't play but don't lose all hope of finishing well. So maybe like 10 weeks and your best 8 are counted?

8:30 or 9pm est would work better for me. When I'm at work I'm either travelling to or from the worksite @ 8pm est. This would be okay if the PFA poker room didn't automatically kick me out when I close the server or I could join late but I don't think that's possible.
