Somehow having to put out all of that effort is just fine, but keeping their underarm hair and leg hair is rebelling against the unfair expectations of the patriarchy.

I've never talked to a man before who has no problem with a woman having thick, bristly hair all over her legs. Most dudes would find that gross, myself included.

A very high percentage of guys in this country are going to have a problem with that, even the so-called open-minded ones.

The reason women shave is because they already have a lot less body hair than men, so it would feel weird to touch a woman's upper body and feel smoothness, and then move down to her legs and feel the bristles of hair. Leg hair contradicts the smooth and soft look that women are going for, so they shave in order to keep that look more consistent.

This doesn't offend or bother me, but I just think it's stupid, especially coming from women who otherwise are conforming to society's idea of femininity.

It's just a selective rebellion for rebellion's sake, and it's lame.

Agree on the fuck off. Also my friend did not have thick bristly leg hair. She hadn't shaved for over a year and the hair on her legs was very much like her arm hair with less hair than is on my legs.

I dated a French woman for almost four years who usually didnt shave her legs or armpits. The sex was great, and her leg hair was unnoticable after it grew out for a few days. Real soft.

The leg hair is just like anything else. If you don't shave and have never shaved it is most likely very soft and not prickly. I have been told that if you shave the legs the hair is replaced quickly as a response to the shave. so in that sense if they never shave then it would hardly grow. Just hope you have a girl that has blond hair and the body hair should be that color.
