oh and Drexel, Robert DeNiro and Al Pachino did star in Heat, however, their faces are never actually shown on screen together in the same frame. it's widely considered that the first movie both are shown on screen with both faces in the frame is Righteous Kill
if you closely watch Heat, not once are they both in frame. in the coffee shop scene it's always over the shoulder with one actors face shown. you can go shot for shot. never shown in the same frame.

I don't see what your post proves. but ok
I can see how the end of my post is a bit misleading. what it is meant to mean is that if you watch closely you'll notice that in the coffee shop scene their faces are never shown in the same frame. in fact, there isn't even an establishing shot of them sitting at the table. it just starts with over the shoulder shots.
and another example is the small jewel heist that they abandon. al Pachino is shot from the back with the camera while looking at the monitor with DeNiros face on it.
Ending shootout in the airfield is the same way, it's closely edited to not have them in the same shots with their faces shown fully.
