Chaps' 2017-18 NFL $$ Thread
my bad. I had this thread open, saw you were lurking, and passed out waiting for your response to Pooh.
I initially thought you were being a bit butt hurt at the beginning of the show re: druff being curt with you. But then I remembered that you've pulled a level like this before, and then realized that you were in fact pulling another level and weren't actually mad at druff being short with you (kinda like when you had the fight with the other host mid-show).
The thing about the phone calls though, that one I can't figure out and was actually going to ask the same thing before Pooh posted. Do you really have to know everyone who's calling into the show? and if so what's the reasoning behind it?
All in all, my good buddy, I think you do a good job and I thank you for bringing that fast talking-guy-ritchie-movie-sounding Englishman on the show. I do however wish we had gotten his opinion on if he thought Stacy Matuson should've even been allowed in the tournament as she's technically a ceasers employee (or at the very least is an IC working for them).

Our media machine and pundits that had a stage were all dead set against Brexit. 24 hours a day for 6 months they blitzed the airwaves trying to drum into the masses what a horrible idea it is to leave.
The experts said it wouldn't happen. The polls said it won't happen. Even Nigel fucking Farage said 2 hours after the polls closed that they were drawing dead.
The rest is obv history.
THAT is what you should learn from, and now is the time to pawn your long suffering wife's wedding ring and lump it all on Trump.
The similarities are all there.
being a fan of the show's brandon and Druff have been on for many years one thing i have pretty much dialled in is there individual sense of humour's and unless you have been a listener for as many years some of there synergy can be mistaken for distain or anger for each other. Druff defiantly does some annoying shit and brandon may use his sense of humour to point it out or correcting, alternate opinion. the only other show i get more laughs from is the Carrolla show and he is #1 podcast in history.
so for any one who has listned for any amount of years and still can't get it should mabey have a internal look rather.
I can't believe some of you can't see brandon embellishing his feelings for william just for shits and giggles holly fucking humourless square's
all hail Hydra

LoL no PFA mention. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Pokernews must hate druff for some reason.
also that article is very terrible and makes jack effel look even worse.
High lights?
sure:
here he is basically admitting that he gives "well known players" their refunds back when they intentionally get thrown out of a tournement for being drunk
and then here he admits that he let Bleznick back into the WSOP after PH's request because well, he deserves to be at the WSOP. LOL he sure made them look good this past episode.Generally speaking, we are pretty forgiving. To give you an example: A well-known player was screaming at the top of his lungs in the Pavilion Room one day. He was screaming and ready to fight anyone. You could hear him in the entire room. He was screaming at me; he was screaming at security guards. He was definitely getting thrown out, as were his intentions it seemed.
I decided to have some mercy on him because I knew he had a bad night, I knew that he had had a little too much to drink and I knew that when he woke up the next day that he would regret what had happened. I got him a full refund for his tournament and I told him I would see him next year.
Druff, first you get this banner up there, and then you just ignore some huge fucking controversy with WSOP and Ceasers.Jared has had a long history of issues in the casino. He had some issues at the tournament and he was asked to leave. Then he and I had a conversation, similar to this other guy I told you about just now. Jared was very apologetic. He totally understood that it wasn’t his best day and I understand that this was his livelihood and what he does every day.
People in the community respect him as a player and he belongs here. He belongs in the tournaments; he belongs at the World Series. He deserves an opportunity to compete with everyone else and I didn’t want to keep that from him. That’s his right. He belongs here. He and I just had to come to an understanding about how you’re supposed to act in the casino; that’s all.
We don’t like to talk about any incident that we have with a player in the casino because that’s private information between the casino and the player. But this was public and reported. Jared didn’t have a very good night one night and he was asked to leave. I did have some sympathies for his situation, for him as a player.
He and I talked about it and he agreed that he did not have the best of nights and he promised he would not have nights like that anymore. We agreed to let things be in the past. We agreed to move on and I wanted him to be able to compete in the rest of the World Series because he is a known player and he has been playing for a lot of years and he deserves to be there.
wtf

I will discuss the Effel article on the next episode.
That 3-week ad isn't silencing me.
