i won a hand the other day with Queen high. for about 150 bb.
I had q10hh, and the guy to my immediate right was just raising every hand, and not even looking at this cards. and he wasn't trying to hide the fact either, he was blatantly just leaving his cards where the dealer tossed them and then making it 5x the big blind.
so of course i call, as do a bunch of others. it was like 6 ways to the flop of A42 with 2 hearts. He bets, I call, everyone folds, we go heads up the turn of an off suit 4. he checks to me, and I bet the rest of my stack, and he calls, the river bricks and i say "fuck, you got it, i missed i have queen high."
"oh shit man really? I missed too, i have 7 high." yes he had 73hh.

Not to turn this into a idiotic poker discussion, but at 60-120 LIMIT holdem at Commerce, a guy bet with 8 high on the river on a non-paired board, was called by 6 high, the 8 high mucked because he was sure he was beat, and then the 6 high showed and took the pot. Pot was very large, and the 6 high took down thousands of dollars.
The 6 high claimed he though he had a straight and was calling with the flush possibility on the board, and only after the 8 high instamucked did he realize he had 6 high. He was a fish, so this was probably true.
