A girl I know changed her job on Facebook to "Stay at Home Wife" .... they have no kids.

I posted a little note saying, "See you are a stay-at-home-wife, soooo you mean lazy, unemployed vulture?"

Obviously that didn't go over well, devolved into about 100 comments, where almost every women defended her with such great lines as, "she has more time for charity" and "there's lots to do around the house." I doubled down with, "at least you know when your divorce is coming when you spot that first wrinkle."

Hmm maybe I shouldn't have drank so much last night. #ButNoRegrets

hope she is just a snob....My neighbourhood is full of these nosy bitches fucking glaring at anyone who drives around the neighbourhood they don't recognize. a few have gotten divorces as they eventually cheated on there husband with the tennis coach. yuup really happened.

What kind of money could she realistically make if she got a job? What is her husband's income?

If the husband makes far more than the wife would, and if the wife's income isn't really needed, there's no point for her to take a job she doesn't want or need.

I don't see anything obnoxious about changing her Facebook status to that.

Sure, it will suck for the husband if they get a divorce and he will be supporting her with alimony, but that would happen anyway if she had a job which didn't bring in much money.
